quick mop
I just bought this at Walmart for $19.99. It has a $5 rebate inside also. Works ok for a quick mop but I'll still use a mop and bucket for a deep clean. I like to use really hot water and a drop of soap/cleanser with vinegar so this works fine. I didn't like that it sprayed about a foot or two ahead of the mop head as I'd rather have it spray a few inches in front (I kept spraying the cupboards). Seems to drip from somewhere so that I'll see water drops on the floor where I've already mopped. I like it better than wet Swiffer since those pad didn't clean much before getting too dry.

Tips to use this mop properly
I brought this mop for the first time, and the sprayer handle broke on me. I called customer service, and they gave me some tips to fix and maintain it. But I still have to exchange for a new one. I have the new one for over a month now. It works perfectly. Here are some tips:1. Dont ever leave solution in the bottle. The cleaning solution will sink and clog the system resulting in breaking the sprayer. And the handle wont work if the sprayer is clogged.2. I rinse out my mop every time with hot water. Just put a bit of hot water in after you used it. Spray and mop a few times just to make sure there is no cleaning solution left in the sprayer and the system.3. Dilute your cleaning solution. It only calls for 2 teaspoon per bottle. I only use about 1 teaspoon and I fill half of it with hot water before I pour in the cleaning solution.It sounds like a lot of work, but I believe it's less work than a bucket mop and getting my hands all dirty and wet every...

Makes the floor shine and okay to eat off of
I ran out of my back up of this product about a month ago. Since then, I've been using what I've had on hand. Myers Cleaners and Lysol. Neither had the ability that the Swiffer brand had to a)leave the floor stick-free, b) create a shine effect and 3) give me the comfort that it is okay for my 10 month old to crawl around and put things in his mouth that he got off the floor. I do use the swiffer of course. I wouldn't recommend anything else other than this to use the the swiffer with. I'm glad to be restocking my house. Yay paycheck!

Really Locks Dirt into the Pad
The advertisement is TRUE.It does lock the dirt into the pad.I clean 2-3 times a week, so my housedoesn't get very dirty compared to some homes.If the pad is lightly dirty, I'll use it the second time.I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT.

Excellent cleaning solution
The wet jet is a fantastic tool... it makes cleaning the floors so much easier. And this solution is very powerful. It cuts through caked on yuck in the kitchen and mud the dog tracks in. It even removed awful residue from Rejuvenate (a terrible hardwood floor "restorer" that made a mess of our floors two years ago). The smell is very fresh and pleasant.I use this on linoleum in the kitchen, tile in the bathroom, and wood throughout the rest of the house. It's supposed to be safe for wood, but given how it stripped off the old Rejuvenate, I might be wary of using it on pretty, glossy wood floors. (Ours are old.)

Cleans great and love the scent!
There is something about the scent of "open window fresh" that makes coming home to wonderful! My husband is all about floor cleaners and this is by far his favorite. We have a toddler, a dog and a cat...mopping is a must and Swiffer WetJet spray cleaner makes it enjoyable.

Better is Better
Great product on my large house with tile floors.I've found it to be safe for my dog and large parrots.I LOVE my Swiffer Wet Jet. After I vaccum the floors, it'snice to be cord free for wet mopping the floors and it onlytakes about 20 minutes to thoroughly dry and the dirt islocked away into the pad to be thrown away.It smells fresh and clean too AND passes the white glove test.

MODIFIABLE!!!
This product was 3.5 stars, until I realized I don't have to use only their cleaning solution and pads! Now this product is awesome!!! It has always worked better than a mop, of course. But now it works better than it did originally!#1- I bought a better, reusable, cleaning pad (from my local grocery store) that sticks to the wet jet. The pad is more absorbable, so it doesn't leave a layer of dried solution all over the floors.#2- The cleaning bottle of solution that "can't be opened" actually can be! All you need is a pair of pliers and the top screws right off. Put your favorite/cheaper cleaning solution inside and the top screws right back on.

Don't know what people are complaining about...
I have to say... I must be lucky or something. I have never had a problem with my swiffer wet jet -- except the time I put a pad on upside down... or should I say downside up :) I rarely fill out these review things, but I think only the angry are reviewing this product, so I had to write. I LOVE the product. It is true, you have to get up as much free roaming dirt and particulates as possible before using it. I use the regular swiffer first and a dustbuster occasionally (I bet the combo swiffer with the vacuum would work great). If you do that and you don't have a huge mess to clean, this thing works great. It does leave chemical on the floor, which will spot on shiny tile, but for matte tile and other sealed flooring, it works wonderfly with NO build up -- it doesn't smell bad either. The batteries last a long time. The cleaner does too if you don't spray it all over the place -- a little goes a long way. Foe the people who worry about "disinfecting" the floor... you are...
